How ‘Sanitized’ Are Internal Audit Reports?

Audit committee members at major companies said that they were getting “sanitized” internal audit reports that aren’t really that useful in order to accommodate management sensitivities, according to CFO.com. The remarks were made during a PWC webcast featuring John Fazio, the audit committee chair of Sequenom, a life sciences company, as well as Heidrick & Struggles International, an executive search firm.
